WrestleMania 30 emanates live from the Superdome in New Orleans and begins with the Fatal Four-Way WWE Tag Team Championship Match on the pre-show. Jack Swagger gets the first elimination when he makes Los Matadores tap out to the Patriot Lock. Cesaro hits the Neutralizer on Ryback for the second elimination, but the Usos retain the title by pinning Cesaro. After the match, Swagger yells at Cesaro, who attacks his (seemingly former) partner.

Hulk Hogan starts off the show proper and cuts a promo about hosting Mania. The glass shatters and Stone Cold Steve Austin emerges. He teases opening up a can of whoop ass on Hogan, but the two just compliment each other for a bit before The Rock's music hits. He says they are the biggest stars in the history of the business, and tonight could not have happened without them. They share some beer together in the ring.

Daniel Bryan beats Triple H (w/Stephanie McMahon) with the running knee to earn a spot in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match.

The Shield squashes Kane and the New Age Outlaws when Roman Reigns spears Kane and they hit a triple powerbomb on both Road Dogg and Billy Gunn. Kane and the Outlaws never even got off any offense.

Cesaro wins the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal when he recreates the WrestleMania 3 moment by scooping up Big Show and tossing him over the top rope for the final elimination.

John Cena defeats Bray Wyatt with the AA after a great back-and-forth match. Bray gave Cena a chair and dared him to "finish me," but Cena cracked Rowan with it on the apron. Bray tried to hit Sister Abigail but Cena countered. Throughout the match, Cena had shown signs of cracking and giving into the pressure of the dark side, but he never did.

In what was easily one of the most shocking moments in WrestleMania history, Brock Lesnar (w/Paul Heyman) defeats the Undertaker to end his 21-0 streak at WrestleMania. Lesnar hit three F-5s and kicked out of a Tombstone in the win. He countered a second Tombstone attempt into an F-5 for the win.

Daniel Bryan defeats Randy Orton and Batista to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Batista hit a Batista Bomb on Orton, but Bryan hit the running knee and then made Batista tap to the Yes Lock for the win. This match also featured a brutal spot in which Batista and Orton combined their finishers to drive Bryan through the announce table and put him on a stretcher.
