And now fans can expect an exciting sequel to the popular 1985 adventure-comedy featuring the Goon-Docks clan!

According to movie director Richard Donner, there's "definitely" a sequel in the works - and he's hopefully bringing back all the stars!

That includes Sean Astin (Micky Walsh), Corey Feldman (Clark 'Mouth' Devereaux), Josh Brolin (Brand Walsh), and Ke Huy Quan (Data Wong) among others.

Donner told TMZ while signing a slew of autographs out in LA over the weekend:

It remains unconfirmed if Donner wants the original "Goonies" to simply have cameo appearances, or revive their original roles.

Donner is also the director of hit films including the "Lethal Weapons" series.
