It looks like British songstress Jessie J has gone back into the closet and this time has come out as straight. She took to Twitter yesterday to post quite lengthy tweets about her sexuality, tweets that gained a lot of backlash for the singer.

J announced during 2011 that she was bisexual, claiming it to many different sources. She is quoted telling The Telegraphy, "I've been with guys and I've been with girls. And I kind of think it's about the person not the genitals." She tells More magazine, "I'm not afraid to say I'm very comfortable with who I am and I love who I love."

Well it seems that now Jessie J is claiming all that love was just a phase.

"Remember that thing that you tried/did back in the day. The phase you had? That is so not YOU anymore? And you look back and think wow how I've changed. I would never do that now," she reveals in a tweet. "Something that you don't even talk about or want to talk about anymore. Because you've moved on? That was just part of you growing up? Discovering yourself and working out what you liked and disliked.... Remember?"

She goes on to state that people only held onto the bisexual rumors because they were put into media and blogged about and that she doesn't want to be defined by her old news because she has changed.

Fans were confused as to what Jessie J was trying to refer to in her ambiguous tweets. Some fans were even hurt by Jessie J saying that they no longer felt she was a perfect role model to which she replied, "Be your own role model. Be you. Watch what you're doing. Focus on you." She goes on to say "I don't want to be perfect. I don't want to be a role model. It's not real. I want to be real."

Jessie J might have lost some fans because of her Twitter rants but in the end she has to be honest to herself and thats all that should matter.
