Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is set to deal with the fallout from the transformative events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and part of that will likely deal with Director Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson. The actor has appeared on the series before, and he revealed that he would do so again in the Season 1 finale.

Jackson told New York Magazine's Vulture column that he would appear in the May 13 episode, which wraps up the show's freshman run.

"I just shot the end-of-the-season show," Jackson said at the premiere of his wife LaTanya's Broadway play, A Raisin in the Sun. But he did not reveal any plot details, of course, as he joked he did not want to get "fired and killed" by Marvel. At least, we hope it was a joke...

Jackson also said his appearance comes thanks to Marvel Studios President of Production Kevin Feige. "If they ask Kevin Feige and Kevin says, 'We'd like for you to do it,' I do," the actor said.

Jackson first appeared on the show in an unannounced cameo at the end of the show's second episode to reprimand Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) for wrecking The Bus, the flying base of operations for Coulson's team.

What do you think about Jackson appearing as Nick Fury in the finale? Does it make sense given what happened in Captain America: The Winter Soldier? What do you think Fury will do in the finale? Let us know your thoughts and ideas in the comments below.
