After months of speculation, fans learned that actress Kate Mara would portray Sue Storm, aka the Invisible Woman, in Josh Trank's upcoming Fantastic Four reboot. But during a recent interview, the House of Cards actress revealed that she does not know as much about the movie as we would think.

Mara spoke with IGN and confirmed that she is, in fact, playing the Invisible Woman. But she also revealed the limits of her knowledge about the movie, which is scheduled to start shooting in just a few weeks:

"Well I don't know very much about it, which is weird but true! Umm, all I know is that it's going to be a very different take on the film, which people may not expect . I'm not really familiar with the comic books...I picked up a few when I got the part. I think we're making a very grounded version of a superhero film. I trust Josh Trank's vision as I was a huge fan of Chronicle."

It's possible that she is just keeping her lips sealed, but it's also possible that she truly doesn't know all that much. Either way, we'll likely find out more as the filming begins.

There had been some conflicting reports about the status of the movie, with some sites even claiming that Fox was ready to scrap Trank and the cast and start from scratch. But it seems now like the movie is pushing ahead as planned.
