Rapper Big Glo Shot DEAD: Chief Keef cousin shot 10 times in Chicago after signing to Interscope Records

Popular Chicago rapper, Mario "Big Glo" Hess aka Bloodmoney was shot 10 times Wednesday night, according to The Chicago Tribune. The upcoming artist was recently signed to Interscope records and was expected to release music with rapper and cousin Chief Keef.

The 30-year-old rapper was hoping that music would be his way out of the violent city, according to his cousin and manager, Renaldo Reuben Hess.

"This was his dream and he finally got his foot in the door," He told Sun-Times. "But that's how it goes in Chicago. He really wanted to get off the stress."

After hearing the news fans reacted tweeted their condolences:
