Selena Gomez reportedly fires her parents

Selena Gomez makes a typical child star move and fires her parents... reportedly.

Information has leaked to TMZ staff that the "Come and Get it" singer has given her parents the boot from their managerial duties.  Mandy and Brian Teefey, Gomez's parents, remain close with the singer but are no longer directly working with the singer.

TMZ has said Justin Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, would be a fit for the job.  However, E! News speculates Bradford Cobb, Katy Perry's manager, would be a better option for the young starlet.

Speculation over the causes of the split points to Gomez's former flame Justin Bieber, but reports have said that was not the case.  Though it can be argued that the Biebs has brought negative attention to the singer.  Bieber's assault court case is scheduled for May 5, Gomez has been subpoenaed because she witnessed Bieber's attack on a paparazzo.

MStars News previously reported that the singer has declared Bieber a sex addict and that Gomez actually caught Bieber cheating, according to a Life&Style insider.

The embarrassments Bieber has caused Gomez range from his assault charges to his deposition tantrums on video going viral to his visit to a Brazilian brothel that had one worker video tape him sleeping in her bed.

When do you think Gomez will say enough is enough?  Maybe after her mandated court appearance?  Or can the Bieber team fix his reputation enough for Gomez to be seen with him in public without tarnishing her own reputation?
