According to the New York Post, Jimmy Fallon was somehow involved in a New York City bar fight last week. The Tonight Show host didn't start this brawl at the Alphabet City bar Niagara, but did get caught up in it.

"There was some hostility from some people at the bar," a source told the New York Post. "Jimmy was not the aggressor, but he was caught up in it. It was broken up and Jimmy and his friends immediately left."

"There was a kerfuffle, a dust-up amongst other patrons," another insider said. "Jimmy was caught up in it, but was not hurt and turned around and left. It was not caused by him and he was in and out in five minutes."

So it looks like both sources are saying Fallon was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Fortunately a more pleasant story came out of Fallon's bar antics last week, too. He ended up a friendlier Chelsea bar and ended up buying everyone a round of shots.

"Let's go!" the Tonight Show host shouts, waving his arm above his head as a jukebox blasts "Runaround Sue." "Shots for everyone!"

"He knows the owner of the bar," said source Richie Alexander. "I tried to buy him a shot, but he says he doesn't do shots, so I bought him a beer. I guess so many other people were offering to buy him a shot, that he just bought the whole bar a shot of vodka."
