I'm giving fair warning that this post contains spoilers from last nights episode of Game of Thrones, read on at your own discretion.

 Another wedding, another death.

Will we ever have a Game of Thrones wedding without any deaths? Last nights episode featured the death of the character everyone loves to hate, King Joffrey, who was killed off by the use of poison. This death is going to set into motion some crazy events for the rest of the season as well as the series.

Last nights episode featured Joffrey's wedding to Margaery Tyrell, a wedding that has become known as the Purple wedding after the color of the wine that was used to poison Joffrey. It looks like the death was a set up and Joffrey's brother Tyrion, played by Peter Dinklage is going to take the fall for it.

Whether you loved Joffrey, or loved to hate him, fans of the show are going to be sad to see his character go. Jack Gleeson the actor behind the controversial character spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the death of Joffrey.

"It was tough. I suppose it's one of those things that you have no prior experience in. I've never seen anyone die. It's hard to imagine what it would be like. But [director] Alex Graves very kindly walked me through it. It was fun in the end but kind of stressful to be so focused, but acting like you're completely unfocused. Difficult but exciting."

He goes on to tell the news outlet that he knew when he was going to die all along.

"I knew from Day 1. When I got the part, I read the first book. And before that, I Googled the character summaries."

When it comes to the death of his characters he thinks that there will definitely be a sadness amongst fans of the show.

"There will be a delight that the person tormenting their favorite characters is gone, but I would like to think there's a certain sadness at the loss of the delight people take in hating a character like Joffrey."

So what are people's reactions to the sudden death of this tyrant? We took to Twitter to get reactions from last nights shocking episode.

@King_Joffrey, a Twitter account dedicated to all things Joffrey, changed the location on his profile page from "King's Landing" to "Somewhere in the 7 Hells."

Star of the show Peter Dinklage @Mrpeterdinklage tweeted, "Hey Joffrey, everyone knows you're not suppose to get "choked up" at your own wedding."

Pitch Perfect star Anna Kendrick (@annkendrick47) Tweets:

"Just watched Game of Thrones and now I'm in a GREAT mood. Who wants shots?1?!?

Mindy Kaling (@mindykaling), star of The Mindy Project, tweets during the show:

I hope nothing happens to Joffrey I love him- Mindy Kaling

A fan twitter account for Tyrion Lannister @GoT_Tyrion tweeted:

"I've got 99 problems but a King ain't one... #PurpleWedding

Whether you loved him or loved to hate him Joffrey was definitely one of the most villianous characters to ever be featured on a TV show.
