Adele Reigns as Queen With Bestselling Album

British singer Adele is way ahead of the game in the U.S. album chart.  She continues to reign as the queen with the No. 1 bestseller for 21.  

More than 5.8 million copies were sold last year and she is already well over 3.7 million copies this year.  Her album 21 is in another league being the only album that sold more than 1 million copies in the year 2012.  

The next four top sellers of the year include Lionel Richie's Tuskergee with 910,000 sales, One Direction's Up All Night with 900,000 sales, Whitney Houston's Greatest Hits and the Now 41 compilation.  Adele already surpassed all 4 combined this year.

The top 5 figital downloads are Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know", Fun's "We Are Young", Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe", Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger" and Nicki Minaj's "Starships".
