Last night was the first ever Dancing with the Stars Disney episode and things seemed to go magically.

The nine remaining couples including Nene Leakes and Candice Cameron Bure danced along to the songs from some of our favorite Disney movies including The Lion King, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid and newest Disney animated movie Frozen.

Dancing tried to shake the programing up of the show now in its eighteenth season, by switching partners up last week. Disney week brought the partners back together for an enchanting reunion.

The show started off with traditional Disney movie opening including our favorite animated fairy Tinker Bell.

The whole cast of Dancing with the Stars started the night of with a choreographed routine to "Zip-a-dee-do-da" that was full of so much energy and life that you couldn't help but smile while watching.

Donny Osmond joined fellow judges Bruno Tonioli, Len Goodman, and Carrie Ann Inaba to critique the performances.

The program bid farewell to Australian Pop star Cody Simpson and his partner Witney Carson. The duo danced to "I Just Can't Wait to be King" from The Lion King. Their performance which got praised by the judges was not enough to save them. Len Goodman said Cody "really sold" the dance and Carrie said she could feel the power of Cody.

The other couples in the bottom two last night were Nene Leakes and Tony Dovolani, along with Candace Cameron Bure and partner Mark Ballas. NeNe donned her best "Cruella De Vil" impersonation as she danced the Samba to the song of the same name from 101 Dalmatians, while Candace danced the Samba to "Under the Sea" from The Little Mermaid. Candace donned a signature red Ariel wig while Mark dressed up in a Sebastian the crab costume.

The most magical moment of the night came when James Maslow, of Big Time Rush fame and partner Peta Mugatroyd danced a contemporary style dance to "Let it Go" from Frozen. Some of the words that the judges used to describe the dance were mesmerizing, emotional, and romantic. The dance was made even more magical when the dance floor come to life with animation, in a very frozen-esque way. The pair received a score of 40, making it the first perfect score of the season.

Another notable performance came from Danica McKeller and Val who performed the Quickstep to" Be Our Guest" from Beauty and the Beast. Dressed in Belle's traditional yellow gown, Danica twirled and spun around the dance floor. Bruno who is notable for his over the top comments said their performance was "a deliciously tasty feast for the eyes." They scored a 39/40 giving them the second best scores of the night and one point away from tying James and Peta for a perfect score.

Other performances included;

Amy and Derek dancing the waltz to "So this is Love" from Cinderella scoring them a 37/40. Len told the couple that Disney should make the next princess after Amy because the performance was beautiful.

Meryl and Maks danced the Samba to "I Wanna be Like You" from The Jungle Book scoring 36/40. Carrie told them that they moved like one body and that there is something very special between the two of them.

Drew Carey and Cheryl Burke danced to "Friend like Me" from Aladdin scoring a 28/40 and receiving negative feedback from the judges saying that Drew needs to be aware of the faces he makes while dancing.

Charlie and Sharna Burgess danced to "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" from Mary Poppins scoring a 37/40. There was a moment during the performance when Charlie dropped his cane but it seemed that the judges didn't critic that giving them mostly positive reviews. Carrie said that Charlie was like "a wave of happiness," and Len said "don't worry about Mary Poppins because their performance was 'eye-poppin.'"

The scores going into next week are James-40, Danica-39, Charlie-37, Amy-37, Meryl- 36, NeNe- 36, Candace- 35, and Drew-28.
