'Doctor Who' season 8, 2014 episodes [SPOILERS]: WATCH Peter Capaldi filming in brand new behind-the-scenes video footage!

Peter Capaldi is currently filming his Doctor Who episodes and this week a behind-the-scenes video was released showing him on set for episode three, "Robots of Sherwood." Actor Tom Riley is also featured in this new video clip.

Meanwhile, writer Mark Gatiss (who penned the episode from which the above footage was taken) recently spoke about Capaldi's take on the Doctor, explaining there could be some changes that the audience will like.

"The Doctor's always the Doctor - but you can have a lot of fun playing with people's expectations," he told Digital Spy last month." Everyone knows how the previous Doctor would react in any given situation - and now you just don't know!"

We're all wondering how Capaldi will do in his role, so the only real way of finding out if asking how he compares to the other Doctors. Is he more like Tennant? Is he as goofy as Smith?

"Peter has a very different energy to Matt Smith and to David Tennant," Gatiss said. "He's older which changes everything - it's amazing what a change does!"
