Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Spoilers: Is Agent Victoria Hand alive?

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is dealing with the fallout of the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. A recent episode seemingly featured the death of Agent Victoria Hand when Agent Ward revealed his true colors and shot her to free Garrett, a HYDRA agent.

But does this truly mean that Agent Hand is gone? The "Ask Ausiello" column at TVLine reports the following:

Question: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has gotten so good. I was wondering if you have any scoop on whether or not Victoria Hand could still be alive? -Joseph
Ausiello: Exec producer Maurissa Tancharoen at first answers, 'She sure looked dead to us!' - but then notes, 'This is the Marvel universe, and our show is based on the fact that a guy we thought was dead is not [dead] at all.'"

News broke last week that Cobie Smulders would return to Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Agent Maria Hill, and ABC has now released the episode description for that episode, the 20^th Season 1 installment entitled "Nothing Personal."

"Just when there's no one left to trust, Agent Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) -- from The Avengers and Captain America: The Winter Solider -- returns to team up with Coulson as S.H.I.E.L.D. is being destroyed around them."
