Lindsay Lohan may be on the road to recovery but sometimes it feels like she will never be able to revive her acting career.

It seems like the actress has hit a speed bump along the way to getting her career back on track. Rumor is that the actress's documentary series Lindsay, on the OWN Network has been cancelled by Oprah. The freshman series that had received an initial order of eight episodes will conclude this Sunday and has not been renewed for a second season as of yet. Does this mean that it is most definitely being cancelled?

The show which follows Lindsay as she trying to regain her life after completing a stint in rehab, has struggled to find its footing amongst viewers. Its premiere episode failed to bring in more than 700,000 viewers.

A source tells E! News that, "rumors that it is being canceled are untrue. The intention was always to do eight episodes. The show is not being canceled." The source does go on to say that a second season is "highly unlikely."

Along with her failing series, Lohan appeared on hit CBS show 2 Broke Girls, this past Monday, to ratings that were less than stellar. According to Nielsen ratings the episode of the comedy tied its series low of 7.21 million viewers and a 2.2 rating amongst viewers in the 18-49 demographic.

Even though the ratings were nowhere never the ratings of past episodes, that doesn't mean that we didn't think Lohan's guest appearance was hilarious. Lohan starred as an indecisive bride whose personality is best described by Beth Behr's character when she says she changes her mind more than Max change's her underwear, referring to Kat Denning's character on the show.

While Lohan's performance didn't completely blow us away, we were still thoroughly enjoying it. She looked healthy and animated and seemed like she was really enjoying getting back to acting. We hope her stint on this show marks good things to come for the actress.
