Premier League Transfer Gossip: Manchester United prepare double move for Marek Hamsik and Marco Reus

With the Premier League's end in sight, many rumours are starting to surface. One thing seems very clear. David Moyes' struggling Manchester United are going to spend millions and millions of dollars to ensure their team are a force once again next season. Only quality will do it seems, and the latest rumours add to that belief. They have been linked with $50 million bids for Napoli's playmaker Marek Hamsik and Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus. Reports suggest that Bayern Munich's Mario Gotze (formerly of Borussia Dortmund) has suggested that his ex-teammate Reus is desperate to join Manchester United. It's believed the pair are very close, and there's no reason to doubt this. Reus would be a massive upgrade for United and he'd play an important part of their rebuilding plans, whilst achieving all of his ambitions, too.

United have also been linked with the Porto's star players, centre-half Eliaquim Mangala, 23, striker Jackson Martinez, 27, and Benfica left-back Guilherme Siqueira, 27, currently on loan from Granada. The trio have had excellent seasons and would all be affordable options, and ones that would vastly improve their ageing squad.

It seems like Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny, 28, is set to leave, with Paris St-Germain, Monaco and Bayern Munich linked with his services. Arsenal are still being linked to Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler, and with other German stars at the club, this deal looks increasingly likely.
