Katy Perry Shot Down Rumors of Romance with Robert Ackroyd

Katy Perry is rumored to be getting close to rocker Robert Ackroyd, however the recently divorced singer disagreed saying that "it's not really appropriate" for her to get into any serious relationship yet.

The bubble gum pop star had a 14 months marriage with British comedian that ended late last year.  

Perry admits to flirting around with people, but she insisted that she is not ready to settle down after her painful heartbreak.

"That's not even appropriate to label. There are times I go out and meet people and flirt, but it's not really appropriate to have anything serious," she shared with USA Today.

"For me, right now, I'm totally not looking (for love). I'm just looking to heal. And I'm on that path. I'm not down on love."

The singer has been busy promoting her 3D concert film "Katy Perry: Part of Me" worldwide.  She plans on "going into hiding" once the promotions are completed.
