Liam Hemsworth Reaches Out to Ex-Fiance Miley Cyrus During Her Hospitalization

A source tells website, Showbiz Spy that Liam Hemsworth has reached out to his ex-fiancé Miley Cyrus, while she was in the hospital this past week to make sure she was okay.

The source tells the news site that, "He was extremely worried when he heard Miley was hospitalized, so he got in touch to find out how she is... They didn't work out as a couple, but he still wants to know that she's okay."

The source also says that, Liam still cares for Miley and was "concerned for her well-being."

The couple began dating after meeting on the set of the 2009 film The Last Song, based on Nicholas Spark's Novel of the same name. They spilt in this past September, after being engaged for just over a year.

Miley was hospitalized after an allergic reaction to medication that she was prescribed after being diagnosed with a sinus infection. The singer was forced to cancel two shows in Missouri at the beginning of April due to the illness, but has since postponed all her upcoming US Bangerz shows after the doctors said the reaction could possibly take a month to subside.

The European leg of the Bangerz tour will begin May 2 in Amsterdam, at which time doctors say that the "Adore You" singer will be completely recovered from the incident.

Miley has kept fans updated on her progress at the hospital tweeting the following:
