Speculation abounded that Bill Goldberg might return to WWE in some capacity for WrestleMania 30, and the most popular rumor was a match with Ryback. In a recent interview, the former WCW Champion revealed his talks with Triple H.

Goldberg told PWInsider.com that he had several conversations with the COO, but none of them specifically mentioned the Ryback match or any other match at WrestleMania 30; however, he did say the following about his level of interest in a WWE return:

"Would I love to do it again and have my son and my wife, who has never seen me wrestle? Abso-damn-lutely. Would I jeopardize what I've done in the wrestling world just to make that happen? No. So if I wasn't ready to do it, physically ready to do it, and it wasn't the right situation, I wouldn't do it just to do it. If that was the case, I'd probably be at WrestleMania this year. It just has to be right and if it's not right, then I'm retired, for good."

AJ Lee Return Update

AJ Lee has not appeared on WWE television since she lost the Divas Championship to Paige on the night after WrestleMania 30. According to Wrestlezone.com, the former champ asked for time off from WWE and the company granted it to her. She left prior to Monday Night Raw last week.

F4WOnline.com now reports that AJ should return in May as she is scheduled for the European tour, which includes television tapings, during the middle of the month. Her next scheduled U.S. events are not until June.
