Guess who posted a selfie video on Vine, as a way to spread the word about the Tribeca Film Festival? Iconic actor Robert De Niro (Taxi Driver) pushes for viral fame in his first-ever Vine video.

In the video, De Niro is grappling with modern technology, wondering what's wrong with his IPhone. De Niro doesn't even realize that the IPhone isn't his and just posted his video on someone else's Vine account. The phone actually belongs to the person standing behind him.

Standing next to De Niro in the video is Jerome Jarre, one of the jurors in the #6SECFilms competition at the Tribeca Film Fest. According to the festival's offical website, Jarre is a fellow Viner and entrepreneur. Back in 2013, Jarre launched GrapeStory, a marketing agency that pairs the best Viners to tell short stories.

Actor Robert De Niro doesn't mind poking fun of himself now and then. Let's hope De Niro sets up his own Vine account and posts more of these hilarious videos. The Tribeca Film Festival currently takes place till April 27^th.
