Eric Hill dead: 'Bachelorette' star fights coma, Andi Dorfman lover dies after tragic paragliding accident, emotional Facebook tribute ignites #RIP tweets

Reports confirm that Eric Hill, a contestant on the upcoming season of "The Bachelorette," died on Wednesday (April 23) after a tragic paragliding accident. Following Hill's passing, his sister Karen Tracy posted a touching tribute on Facebook. Since the heartbreaking news hit the web, several fans have continued to offer their codolences on Twitter.

Hill crashed while paragliding on Easter Sunday (April 20). The reality star immediately fell into a coma. Tracy wrote this Facebook message on Wednesday morning:

"Eric shared his final journey with us this morning as all his immediate family were able to be at his side when he passed away. Thank you to all of your love and support and prayers and fasting. It was amazing to be with so many of his friends and family yesterday in the hospital who came to express their love for Eric. He gave us such a gift of a life fully lived and fully shared, and allowed us all to be a part of his last adventure here on earth. It is hard to think of life without his bright spark, but we know he is on to new adventures. We look forward to carrying on his legacy here and greeting him joyfully again someday. I love you so much, little brother!"

Hill will appear on the upcoming season of "The Bachelorette" featuring single lady Andi Dorfman. Rumors suggest he was already eliminated at the time of the shocking accident.

Hill was an avid adventurer and extreme-sports enthusiast. He spent the majority of 2013 on a mission deemed "GO with Eric, The Global Odyssey." He wanted to travel to every country by 2016 - he shared his adventures on Facebook and had plans to film a documentary.
