Adnan Januzaj declares himself for Belgium: Manchester United youngster now available for 2014 World Cup selection

One year ago football fans knew very little about Manchester United's prospect, Adnan Januzaj, but after an explosive start to David Moyes' struggling tenure, he is one of the bright spots of a very dark and miserable season for the Red Devils. Soon after breaking on to the scene many wondered which country the star would represent.

The youngster, for various reasons, could of selected England, Kosovo, Turkey, Belgium and various others as his international team, but he opted for Belgium today. Will he go to the World Cup? Belgium already have one of the youngest, and most impressive teams going in to the tournament and Adnan just adds to their already luxurious options.

The talented attacking midfielder can play in a variety of positions and may be ready to explode on to the international scene in style, possibly making his debut in the biggest way possible, a World Cup fixture.

The teenager has been criticized for being small, lightweight and a diver, but it's believed a summer of bulking up will only enhance his abilities. If Adnan can add strength and muscle then a lot of his so called weaknesses will disappear, meaning he can go on and become an elite star for Manchester United and now Belgium.
