Ahead of Live Another Day's premiere, IDW Publishing presents an original five-part miniseries starring CTU Agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland). In 24: Underground #1, Bauer can no longer stay off the radar when he finds lost in Ukraine.
In an interview with Hero Complex, Brisson discusses how Bauer has changed after Season 8's finale, "[Jack] arrives and even though he's trying to stay off the radar, he can't. A problem presents itself, but he's on the run still so he can't draw too much attention to himself. I like this idea of telling stories where he sort of gets dragged into things and always has to move on at the end of the day from any sort of normalcy that he's tried to achieve."
