The ending of the match between Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker at WrestleMania 30 legitimately shocked and confused many fans, who could not believe their eyes at the sight of the death of the streak. Since then, many conflicting reports have come out to explain the backstage circumstances behind the decision to end the streak, and the latest report only clouds the issue further.

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer reports that it's still unclear who made the ultimate decision to end the Undertaker's streak at WrestleMania 30. It's almost a guarantee that if Undertaker wanted the streak to continue, then he would have had a significant amount of input to make that happen.

However, this latest report states that Undertaker was scheduled to win the match until the final days of planning. At some point in the process, Vince McMahon changed his mind about the finish and decided that the Undertaker's physical condition led him to believe this could have been Taker's last match, so he decided the Streak should end.

Furthermore, the report states no one other than Taker and Vince knows the content of the conversation between the two about the ending. One source close to Taker, a friend of his, said he was talked into losing, while another source said he did not argue about the finish and accepted his loss.

As always, take all of these reports with multiple grains of salt. Stone Cold has said Undertaker will soon appear on his podcast, The Steve Austin Show, so fans may not get the whole truth about the end of the streak until that conversation becomes public.
