Marvel Studios President of Production Kevin Feige is a busy man, but he always takes the time to conduct numerous interviews to keep fans up to date on the inner workings of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His latest interview touches on Thanos and Captain America 3's upcoming showdown with Batman vs. Superman.

Feige spoke to Empire Magazine (via Comic Book Movie), which asked if Thanos (who has been described as the "end boss" of the MCU thus far) would make a physical appearance in James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy this summer or if he would appear in CGI as he did in the post-credits scene of The Avengers. The magazine also asked if Marvel Studios has someone in mind to play Thanos, and Feige would only confirm that the role has been cast.

"There is an actor," he confirmed. "I'm not sure we want to announce it yet."

Perhaps we'll find out at Comic-Con, or perhaps we'll have to wait for the movie itself.

The interview also covered the topic of Cap 3 and BvS on the same weekend in 2016, and Empire asked what Feige thinks about the fans' feelings that Marvel's decision not to change the date show's the studio's confidence.

"Well, I'm glad people think that way. We had the flag there first," he responded. "What other people do and where has always been less of our concern. It's about keeping our head down and doing what we would believe would be cool for an audience to see."

Finally, Feige talked about Guardians of the Galaxy:

"Guardians will feel and seem the most separate. But in a summer where people are going to see a lot of sequels, some of which are ours, and a lot of reboots and familiar faces, we were excited about the idea of bringing something new and totally unexpected to the screen."
