Dust off your old pair of blue jeans and get your best group of girlfriend together because The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is coming back.

Alloy Entertainment is in the process of developing Sisterhood Everlasting, a sequel to the first two Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants films. The films are all based on Ann Brashares series of the same name, and the new film will be based off of the fifth and final book in the series, Sisterhood Everlasting.

The new film will follow the four girls, Tibby, Lena, Bridget, and Carmen, in a story that takes place ten years after the events of the second film. All of the girls have grown apart and are rarely keeping in touch with one another. Tibby tries to reunite the girls by inviting them on a vacation to Greece, a trip that will change the lives of the members of the sisterhood forever.

President of Alloy Entertainment, Les Morgenstein tells the Hollywood Reporter that, "The Sisterhood series is one of Alloy's most cherished properties and we are looking forward to continuing its legacy with Sisterhood Everlasting nearly a decade after the first film was released. The original film brought together an incredible group of talent who we hope to unite for fans once again."

The first two films starred Alexis Bledel, Amber Tamblyn, America Farrera, and Blake Lively. No news as of yet if all four girls will return for the sequel, but we are praying they will.

Ken Kwapis will return as the director for the upcoming film, which will be adapted by Liz Garcia, who has written for TV series Wonderfalls and Dawson's Creek and whose movie credits include The Lifeguard starring Kristen Bell.

The first film went on to earn $42 million worldwide, while the sequel earned $44.4 million at the worldwide box office.
