Usher's 11 year old son has been declared brain dead by doctors after a tragic accident Friday which saw him hit in the head by a jet ski.

Kyle Glover, the son of Usher's estranged wife Tameka Foster, was playing with a friend on an inner tube on Law Lanier in Atlanta, Ga on Friday when a jet ski drove straight into them. Glover was hit in the head and knocked immediately unconscious. He was rescued from the river and airlifted to an Atlanta hospital.

Glover's friend was also hit and suffered a broken arm and lacerations to her head. She was also airlifted to the hospital but her condition was not thought to be as serious as Glover's.

According to TMZ sources, Glover has not experienced any brain activity since he was brought into the hospital, and doctors are extremely worried for him. He is currently on life support, and it is unknown whether any discussions have already taken place about whether to keep Glover on that or turn it off.

Usher reportedly arrived at the hospital on Friday night and has not left the hospital since.

Despite his problems with Tameka Foster Usher reportedly made sure a chartered airplane was immediately made available to her so she could fly in to be close to her son.

Fantasia tweeted, "Everyone please pray for Usher and Tameka's son! This is the time they really need your prayers."

Russell Simmons tweeted, "praying Usher and Tameka's son is ok..."

The tragic news is sure to be devastating to Usher who has already had a tough few months. Last month he was forced to seek a restraining order against a woman obsessed with him. She reportedly broke into his property last month and set up a camp on his front door steps, and repeatedly rang Usher's doorbell.
