Joe Wright's Peter Pan origin film 'Pan' casts Cara Delevingne & Amanda Seyfried opposite Hugh Jackman

Joe Wright's Peter Pan origin film, Pan, already has an impressive cast but as pre-production moves along more stars are signing on for this highly anticipated movie. We know that Hugh Jackman is set to play Blackbeard in this adaptation, but now we've learned his Les Miserables costar Amanda Seyfried is joining the project as well. Plus, model Cara Delevingne is set to star in a yet-to-be-announced role in Pan.

Warner Bros. announced Seyfried's role in a new press release, which included other casting news. Check out an excerpt right here:

Amanda Seyfried ("Les Misérables") rounds out the cast as Mary, alongside Jack Charles ("Mystery Road") as The Chief/Tiger Lily's father; Taejoo Na ("The Kick") as Kwahu; Nonso Anozie ("Son of God," "Atonement") as Bishop; Kathy Burke ("Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy") as Mother Barnabas; Kurt Egyiawan ("Skyfall") as Murray; Lewis MacDougall (UK TV's "In the Name of the Children") as Nibs; and newcomer Leni Zieglmeier as Wendy Darling.

As you can see, Cara isn't mentioned in the press release. This adds a layer of mystery to her role. What character do you think the "It Girl" will play in Wright's upcoming film?

Though you may be wondering why this model is cast in such a big film, we should point out that she has had some acting experience and is interested in pursuing a career. Her Pan role is allegedly small, but even if she's simply rounding out the cast it's a huge project of which to be a part.
