Red singer/songwriter Taylor Swift and actress Sarah Hyland (Modern Family) love to play dress-up while hanging out together. Swift and Hyland took some snapshots of themselves while playing a frumpy mother nagging at her rebellious daughter.

According to People, the BFFs were seen together attending the off-Broadway play, Under My Skin. Swift and Hyland were wearing different attires that seemed to represent an odd couple. The two quickly realized their wardrobe made them appear like a mother-daughter duo with split personality.

On her official Instagram, Swift wrote, "We decided we were dressed like a strait-laced mom and her rebellious teen daughter" Swift then added to the cheeky humor with the hashtags, #YouDontUnderstandMeMom!!!, #StormsOut, and #ComeBackHere,YoungLady!

Hyland kept up with the shenanigans on her own Instagram as well. Hyland jokingly wrote, "When your mom gives you "the finger." She added a hilarious hashtag of her own, #donttellmewhattodo! In the laugh-out-loud photo, Hyland makes a pouty face while looking at the camera.
