UFC: Jon Jones defeats heavy-hitting Glover Teixeria

For a long while now people have been saying it would be a matter of time until Jon 'Bones' Jones loses, but it's not happening. He was supposed to find Glover Teixeira too difficult an opponent to overcome, yet he always finds a way to improve and beat whoever is put in front of him. Jones won on a clear unanimous decision, creating a huge wound of Glover's eye in the process.

Jones' title was on the line, but Jones showed his skills are always improving, using his heavy, fast punches to dominate Glover. Jones won 50-45, which all three judges agreed upon. Glover agreed how difficult it was to fight Jones, saying "That guy can take a punch,". He continued, saying "I hit him with some good shots. I hit him with my left hook and he took it." It seems Glover was shocked at how well Jones was able to absorb the pain.

Although many thought Jones would fall short, he proved to be too quick, too strong and a level above Teixeria. Can anybody defeat Jon 'Bones' Jones? Jones is to have a rematch Gustafsson, in what will be a highly anticipated fight, with many believing Gustafsson has what it takes to beat Jones. This rematch is likely to be a much tougher, closer fight than Jones endured Saturday night.

Who can stop 'Bones' Jones, and why is he able to adapt so impressively for each fight? For now, his impressive run as a champion looks unbreakable.
