Could Hollywood's most eligible bachelor George Clooney finally be settling down?

While many ladies have tried to tame the wild stallion, it looks like one might have finally succeeded, and she goes by the name of Amal Alamuddin.

Clooney and Alamuddin have been reportedly dating since last October after the couple was spotted at a dinner party bonding over their interested in global human rights and the United Nations.

Two different sources confirm to E! News that the legendary actor will be walking down the aisle with Amal on his arm. The engagement rumors started flying on Thursday when Alamuddin was spotted out to dinner wearing a "massive" ring on her left hand. During dinner at Nobu, the British lawyer told guests Cindy Crawford, her husband Rande Gerber, and Edward Norton that her and Clooney were indeed engaged.

Being a prime example of the bachelor lifestyle many people tend to forget that Clooney was married before. In 1989 Clooney took the plunge and wed Talia Blasam, a marriage that would only last for 4 years. He reflected on that experience in an interview with Esquire magazine last year.

"I was married in 1989. I wasn't very good at it. I was quoted as saying I'll never get married again pretty much right after I got divorced and then I've never talked about it since."

Hopefully this marriage proves to be more suitable to Clooney's lifestyle. It seems that they are well prepared for their honeymoon at least, having just returned to the states after spending time vacationing in the Seychelles and Tanzania.

The couple seems to be making things extremely official, after only dating for seven months Alamuddin has already meet some of George's closest friends. The couple was spotted grabbing sushi a few weeks ago with Emily Blunt and husband John Krasinski.

Congrats to the happily engaged couple, we wish them all the best in their future together.
