3OH!3 EXCLUSIVE interview: find out how the band's helping US armed forces, why the Denver Broncos won the Super Bowl, and all the details about their next album!

One of the world's most famous pop bands, 3OH!3, are busy visiting US air bases performing for the US troops across Europe. The catchy group are known for their hit singles "Don't Trust Me", "Starstrukk" with Katy Perry and collaborating with Kesha on the song "My First Kiss". Their album 'Streets of Gold' peaked at number seven on the Billboard 200, but find out what's next for the hit-makers, as they took the time out to talk to Mstarz:

Mstarz: What was it like working with Katy Perry and Kesha?

3OH!3: Kesha was like working with a fresh bar of Irish spring soap

You know what working with both of those girls was fucking awesome. It was cool with both of those girls because they were friendships that developed into working relationships. We knew the, both before. We toured with Katy Perry at the Warped Tour in the States. It was great.

Mstarz: Are you still in contact with Katy Perry?

3OH!3: Yes. She wont return my calls. I have a restraining order where I have to stay outside of 200 yards from her.

Mstarz: Thanks for coming here.

3OH!3: It's our pleasure. We're thankful for everything these guys do.

Mstarz: What's next for you guys?

3OH!3: We're off to Naples tomorrow for a little more touring. We're actually writing now for a future record that will hopefully be out this year.

Mstarz: Have you got a name for it?

3OH!3: Not yet man, got any ideas? Cambridge? Let us know and it'll be the name of your article.

Mstarz: What's your impression of England?

3OH!3: We love it. We've been out here a bunch man. We've toured out here 7 or 8 times before. We've done Reading and Leeds festivals. We'll be back as long as you guys will have us.

Mstarz: What do you think of the weather here?

3OH!3: We love it. Our favourite. Cloudy days are our favourite thing, you need the cloudy days to make the sunny days sunny.

Mstarz: Which artist would you most like to collaborate with?

3OH!3: Meatloaf. The loaf of meat. I don't know where he is, If you know where he is, you tell me! Labrinth, too.

Mstarz: Which of your songs are your favourite?

3OH!3: That's a hard one man. I don't know, I think there's some songs we could play over and over and they'd last. 'Young blood' as it's really fun to play.

Mstarz: Are you both Denver Bronco fans? What's your view on this year's Super Bowl?

3OH!3: We are massive fans and we're very happy they won the Super Bowl this year. Nah, it's weird because the telecast was different here, it was altered, they actually won.

Mstarz: What's going to happen this coming season?

3OH!3: They're going to win again. Back to back. Peyton Manning's better than his brother (Eli Manning), but the Super Bowl record wouldn't say that much.

Mstarz: Are you fans of the Colorado Rockies?

3OH!3: They're good, we're fair weather fans. The Colorado Avalanche are good, they are in the playoffs right now. They won't win it, but they'll get there.

Mstarz: Is there anything you'd like to say to your British and American fans, and those serving in the US armed forces?

3OH!3: We are so excited to be out here. We love touring in the UK. The UK music scene is something we really admire and we really aspire to. It's a pleasure to be out here, man. The US military and all armed forces, well we're so happy to get the opportunity to come out here and play and hopefully entertain some people. There's so much they do for us and hopefully we can just give a little bit of that back.
