MStars has learned that the death of socialite Peaches Geldof was ruled to be a heroin overdose.

According to TMZ, Coroner Roger Hatch revealed that Geldof used heroin right before she died, and that the drug is "likely to have played a role in her death."

Hatch added that Peaches was found dead by her husband lying on her bed. Geldof was the daughter of British rocker, and political activist Bob Geldof. She was found dead in her Kent home on April 7, as MStars previously reported.

We previously reported that authorities investigating the death called it a "non-suspicious, unexplained sudden death." An autopsy later revealed to be inconclusive due to the corner not having the results of the toxicology tests at that time.

Peaches leaves behind her husband, Thomas Cohen and two children.
