Dark Horse Comics Presents ‘Buzzkill’ Writer Donny Cates’ New Miniseries ‘Ghost Fleet!’

Writer Donny Cates made a name for himself at Dark Horse Comics with the critically acclaimed Buzzkill. Now Cates returns with his newest comic, Ghost Fleet, which blends big bad rigs with top-secret conspiracies.  

Cates took the comic book industry by storm with Buzzkill. The comic follows Ruben, an unstoppable superhero whose powers depend on drowning large amounts of alcohol. Basically, he has to get drunk before saving the world. The super villains actually want him to go to rehab and get clean because Rueben is an angry and violent drunk when he fights crime. That type of crazy and out-of-the box storytelling is the reason why Ghost Fleet looks to be a promising new series.

Ghost Fleet will be released as a twelve-issue mini-series. Cates joins artist Daniel Warren Johnson (Space Mullet) and colorist Lauren Affe With this creative team-up, you can be sure Ghost Fleet is going to be one hell of a ride.

Plot Synopsis:
