Adrien Broner has been labelled as 'the next Floyd Mayweather', but he has a long way to go if he's to achieve half of his friend's accomplishments. Yes, Broner has been impressive and many thought his shocking defeat to Marcos Maidana would knock him down a peg or two, but apparently not. He dominated, and beat Carlos Molina, and launched in to a horrific speech, offending many, which didn't help his arrogant acts during the fight appear any better, neither.

Not many people like the star, but he seems intent on being the villain, almost like the 'heel' in your favourite WWE segment, but this is real life, and he's causing problems for himself. After his unanimous-decision victory over Molina he shouted "I'm the Can man" I'm Afri-can, I just beat the F*ck out of a Mexi-can". The rant offended Molina, the professionals surrounding the ring and the fans, and it's clear Broner needs to grow up, or risk losing it all.

Broner has evident talent, but he has a bigger ego than Mayweather, and nowhere near the talent. Fans like boxing banter, but when he belittles the fans, and his opponents, it's clear that Broner cannot go as far in the sport as he seems to think he can. He's fast becoming the one everybody wants to beat, and before long, if this keeps happening, he'll lose his 'top prospect' label, and become the has-been many want him to become.
