Announcing Mr. and Mrs. Kanye West!!!

Sources tell Life & Style that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are officially husband and wife.

The couple applied for a marriage licenses in the United States last week just to ensure it was legal before heading out to the official ceremony in France later this month. For a couple to obtain an official marriage license in France they need to have resided there for forty days prior to the wedding.

The paperwork has finally come through in California, and they are now officially man and wife.

"Kim and Kanye are now married on paper. They got their license in California over the last few days. Kim and North are on their way to NYC now."

Kim is heading to New York City to meet up with Kanye to attend the MET Gala this Monday.

The married couple is still set to have their wedding ceremony on May 24 in Paris.

When asked about details of the upcoming Parisian ceremony Kim tells Vogue that it's not what some people are expecting.

"People are probably assuming we're going to have this massive wedding, and I think it will be- but intimate. Two hundred people- just all our closest friends- a special night for us and all the people that really love us and that have supported us."

Details of the wedding seem to be under lock-and-key, but Life & Style has learned that that Kim will be wearing multiple gowns made by designers Balmain, Givenchy, and Lanvin.
