While some fans thought Rihanna "insulted" fellow songstress Ariana Grande during her standout iHeartRadio Awards performance last week, the "Problem" songstress admits that RiRi was just being "playful and supportive" - people shouldn't make such a big deal out of it!

As Mstars previously reported:

Rihanna won top-honor at the first-ever iHeartRadio Awards held in LA on Thursday (May 1) - "Artist of the Year." Check out RiRi's acceptance speech below:

The "Pour It Up" songstress was ecstatic, and definitely turned heads in her funky, goth-inspired getup.

But there's another video from the event that's currently going viral online...

RiRi cracking-up during Ariana Grande's standout performance:

What perfect timing when the cameras turn to get the reaction of Drake's girlfriend - she can't stop laughing!

Maybe someone at her table made a joke at a rather inopportune time? Or was Rihanna really hysterical over the "Problem" songstress' performance!?

Now rumors suggest there's a new "feud" brewing in Hollywood.

Grande IS coming-out with a new collaboration featuring RiRi's ex, Chris Brown. Maybe that's why the Barbadian beauty broke-out in a fit of giggles?

During a recent radio interview with Australia's "The Bump Show," Grande discussed Rihanna's alleged "diss."

The host said, "[Rihanna] wasn't laughing at you, she was laughing at something your best friend said. I know you guys caught up afterwards, did she clarify that?"

And Grande's response:

"I didn't see her laughing at me, but when I watched it afterwards it looked like she was just shocked because I was doing something different... Afterwards she was so kind to me, she was like, 'Lil' mama keep doing what you're doing because it's working.'" She continued, "I thought it was funny that people tried to make such a commotion out of it when she was just being playful and supportive... People are always trying to make a big deal out of nothing because they're bored."
