'Real Housewives of New York' Alum Kelly Bensimon to Make Guest Appearance This Season. Could She Be Coming Back Full Time?

Different rumors have been circling the Real Housewives of New York from cancellation rumors to possibly bringing back past cast members. Most recently the media had a field day when Bethenny Frankle was asked if she would ever consider returning, sadly for fans she said no.

While fans are bummed out about Frankle not returning they might be happy to hear that another former cast member is thinking about making her way back to the Upper East Side.

Supermodel and former housewife Kelly Bensimon, says she would love to come back. She was featured on the show from season 2- 4, and while we're happy she wants to revisit the series, we are not entirely sure why she would. Her time on the show was a bit of a roller coaster ride, often showing her fighting with the other woman, who she clearly didn't enjoy. She had such an awful time on a Housewives vacation that she nicknamed the trip "scary island."

The former housewife recently sat down with Wetpaint Entertainment to talk about her new perfume and if she would ever consider returning to the show.

While promoting her new fragrance, she tells the gossip website that the housewives franchise gave her the exposure she needed to launch her own brand, which now includes the perfume "In the Spirit Of."

She also lets them know that she will be making a guest appearance in the current season of Real Housewives of New York.

Current member of the housewife family, Luann asked Kelly to make an appearance on an upcoming episode or two, which Bensimon said she was happy to do.

"LuAnn asked me to come on with her. She was like, ‘Will you walk in this fashion show for me and surprise all the ladies?' And I obviously told her that I would. It was really fun. I got to meet Carole Radziwill, who's incredibly smart, funny, and charming. She said she wanted to meet some guys to snuggle with, so I set her up on some dates."

Could this be the push that Bravo is looking for to launch Bensimon back into the series full time? Bravo may want her back, but Bensimon told the Wetpaint that she has a few reservations about joining again.

"I loved being on the show and meeting these women and observing their lives. The only way that I would actually ever consider coming back is if I could actually show my real life and be able to celebrate who I am, versus being in a scene with women I don't know," the former housewives says. "Just let the cameras roll, let the women go for it. Why do you stop filming? When we were in Morocco, all of the best things that happened were after the cameras finished. Me sitting in my underwear drinking wine with LuAnn and Sonja crying? I mean, that's like TV gold.
