After weeks and weeks of speculation about when her new music video for "West Coast" will be released, Lana comes out of nowhere and just drops the video on us today.

The video which is almost entirely shot in black and white, starts off with Lana frolicking on a beach in California with a group of long haired surfer boys. The group dances around on the beach before dunking Lana in the ocean.

The video flashes between the beach scenes and ones where Lana is driving down the coast in a car, curling up to an older man, possibly a sugar daddy?

We are getting some serious love triangle vibes from the video, between Lana, the surfer guy, and the older gent. When Lana is with the sugar daddy she's longing to be with the younger guy and vica versa. There are a few scenes that breakout of the monochrome mood and feature Lana in a red dress being engulfed in orange flames.

We guess love really does burn.

The video, which was supposed to be released two weeks on Vevo had been pushed back for unknown reasons. Lana released the video yesterday only making it available for a short period of time before she had Vevo pull it down.

West Coast sold 118,000 copies in its first week of release and debuted at number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. It is the first song to be released off of Lana's upcoming album Ultraviolence which is due out sometime this summer, but if this video premiere is telling us anything, we think that Lana will release it on us unexpectedly.
