This weekend provides audiences with a variety of genres for their respective viewing pleasure. For instance, two of the most controversial films are coming out - Palo Alto and Devil's Knot. We also have two comedies ranging from straightforward absurd (Neighbors) to a more eclectic, dark humor (The Double). Oh and Chef is in theaters this weekend, too.

Neighbors might be the biggest comedy of the year (so far). Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne play a married couple that has to deal with their new neighbors - a fraternity run by a sadistic Zac Efron. It will at least be interesting to see who steals the film considering all of the comedic talent involved.

We're not totally sure if James Franco's recent underage Instagram flirting was an elaborate way to promote his new movie Palo Alto, but the film hits theaters this weekend so we can see how it does in the box office. Based on the writing of Franco and costarring Emma Roberts as his underage lover, this coming of age story is sure to be one to go down as either creepy or poignant in years to come.

Jesse Eisenberg portrays two roles in this cerebral comedy from writer-director Richard Ayoade. The Double is dark and hilarious look into doppelgangers, romance and isolation. This is definitely one to check out this weekend.

Though the movie poster and plotline for Chef sounds more like a family drama about a chef that quits his job to take his career into his old hands, ultimately getting his family involved, the movie is rated R. It's also getting great reviews. Find out why in theaters!
