After several rocky romance reports and steamy pics surfaced of pop star Justin Bieber getting cozy with an unknown model, it seemed as though his relationship with Selena Gomez was headed for disaster. However, if you thought the once promising storybook romance had met its demise; think again. Earlier today, the made-up lovebirds were spotted in Japan as Gomez posted a Facebook picture of them posing together in front of an anime-graffitied brick wall.

The photo comes as a big surprise to many as the on-again/off-again couple have been known to be potentially on the outs for quite some time now. Many had come to believe that the relationship between Bieber and Gomez was headed for its inevitable demise as TMZ revealed that the couple had broken up several times over the last few months.

As mentioned earlier, Bieber had reportedly been testing the solo waters as he walked through the rocky roads of their shaky relationship.

According to X17Online, the attention-ridden star was seen on the set of his new music video "As Long As You Love Me", sucking face with the aforementioned model on July 6th.

People also reported that Gomez had recently caused a small scene at celebrity friend Ashley Tisdale's 27th birthday bash. She "was crying about Justin and was upset," claimed the source to People.

This had come just mere days after he and Gomez had supposedly patched things up; so "Never Say Never" to any future speculation.

It should be noted that the couple did indeed combat past breakup rumors back in August of last year.

Let's hope for Gomez's sake that the hookup was not legit but just another day at the office for Biebs; working wise of course. Here's to the land of the rising sun rekindling the everlasting love (only time will tell) between Justin and Selena!
