Zack Snyder's Twitter has been busy in the past two days. He posted a very interesting tease for fans on Monday when he tweeted a picture of the Batmobile partially covered with a tarp from his upcoming Man of Steel sequel, Batman vs. Superman with the caption, "Could be time to pull the tarp...Tomorrow?" On Tuesday, Snyder pulled the tarp and more.

The director went back to Twitter to post this first look photo of Ben Affleck as Batman next to the Batmobile:

This is just the first photo, but it looks as though Snyder has captured the spirit of the character without going over the top. The black, white and gray photo is smoky, dark and moody, and the costume is simple (and, thankfully, without Bat-Nipples).

The Batmobile also seems to be inspired somewhat by Christopher Nolan's Tumbler design from The Dark Knight trilogy, though it incorporates the pointier features of other depictions of the car.

Now, compare the picture with what Kevin Smith said on his Hollywood Babble-On podcast that he has seen Ben Affleck's Batman costume and revealed that fans would more than likely be blown away by it:

"I saw the Batman costume. More than that, I saw a picture of [Ben Affleck] in the costume...I don't want to give anything away 'cause that is up to them and stuff, but I am going to say this...I instantly bear hugged [Snyder]. You have not seen this costume on film before. For a comic book fan, it was mind-bending... Because every other movie does this Matrix-y black armor thing...There wasn't a single nipple on this suit. I think everyone is just gonna be like 'Holy S**t!' It's its own thing. We haven't been down this path before. Even the hardest core [most skeptical] person will be like 'Alright, I'm ready.'...It seemed like it was very [redacted] influenced."
