#AlecBaldwin has become a trending topic on Twitter after the actor was arrested this morning in New York City.

The 56-year-old took to Twitter to address his outrage over the fact that he was arrested this morning.

The actor writes "Officer Moreno, badge number 23388, arrested me and handcuffed me for going the wrong way on Fifth Ave. Meanwhile, photographers outside my home ONCE AGAIN terrified my daughter and nearly hit her with a camera. The police did nothing."

The incident happened Tuesday Morning after Baldwin was found riding his bike the wrong way on Fifth Avenue. After the police issued Baldwin a summons for the crime they also asked him to supply them with ID, which the Emmy winning actor didn't have on him at the time. The police then issued him a second summons, at which point Baldwin become "belligerent" and the NYPD was forced to take him into custody.

That actor has since been released from police custody but that hasn't stopped him from taking his anger out on his Twitter page. Baldwin also tweeted "New York City is a mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue and anxious to criminalize behavior once thought benign."

Alec Baldwin is known for his hot headed temper. Two of the most recent temper tantrums from the star happened last year, when the actor went on a homophobic Twitter rant and also when he caused a scene on an airplane after refusing to turn off his iPhone.

Who knew that bike riding could cause this much trouble? This is exactly the reason why I don't exercise.
