Photos of Gal Gadot filming 'Batman vs. Superman' movie in Michigan

Filming on Batman vs. Superman is underway in Birmingham, Michigan, and a Twitter user posted some photos on Friday of Gal Gadot during filming.

The first picture shows Gadot in a blue dress in what is likely either Metropolis or Gotham, though it looks more like Metropolis. The caption reads, "Batman vs. Superman filming right outside Google office in Downtown Birmingham. @GalGadot outside our doors."

The user posted two more photos later in the day.

In related news, the actress revealed some of her methods to get in shape for the part to E! Online:

"I just keep active - everything that's challenging me, everything that I feel like doing," she said. "It's not like I'm only TRX or Pilates. I do sports."

However, the actress noted that TRX is her favorite "because everything's working your whole body. I do cardio, but I don't like it as much. I'd rather do weights."

She also discussed her diet, which includes some not-so-healthy options. "I try to eat healthy. But sometimes though, I eat cheeseburgers. That's good for the soul. I make sure to balance everything out. I drink tons of water."

And finally, Gina Carano, a popular choice to play the character, recently weighed in on Gadot's casting.

"I worked with her on Fast & Furious 6, and she's amazing. Such a great person with such a solidness in her character, so I'm very excited for her to do that, she said."

Carano also addressed the source of the controversy around Gadot's casting:

"I think people have an idea what they consider Wonder Woman," she said. "I definitely know (Gadot) has been training and there's so much more that goes into being a strong female character. I think people have their own idea, but I always like the underdog, I'm always rooting for the underdog. If the world says you can't do something, I couldn't care less because that's not how anybody should live their lives."
