A.J. McCarron is perhaps one of the most talked about NCAA QB of all time, and it seems that won't stop now he's an NFL QB. He was arguably one of the better players in the 2014 NFL Draft, yet he fell to the fifth-round, with some suggesting his arrogance may of played its part. It seems A.J. doesn't believe he was understood, and he's extremely hurt by the judgement some have made. He's not the kind to hold back, and he's been quick to discuss the matter publicly.

McCarron said 'It [stinks] that it hurt me like that, but at the same time, I feel like God had a plan. Everything's going to work itself out. I'm happy, and hopefully at the end of the day I'll get the last laugh.' It's up to A.J. to make everybody regret not picking him. It's easy to see why he's hurt, especially when considering Johnny Manziel comes across as arrogant, yet was a first-round selection.

Bengals veteran DE Wallace Gilberry knows McCarron very well, and when asked if these claims bothered him, he replied 'It did, for the simple fact that I know the kid," He continued saying "A lot of people will confuse confidence with cockiness. With where he's been, I know where he's from and I know how he grew up. I know him. And it's like I told him, 'Everybody's not going to like you and this world isn't for everybody to like you. The ones that respect you, respect them. And the ones that don't, you show them why they should.'

It seems A.J. will remain in the headlines, especially when his partner, Katherine Webb, and him have their reality TV show in the spotlight.
