The New York Knicks have been busy looking for a new head coach, and after failing to land Steve Kerr, it appears Phil Jackson and his Knicks team aren't going to sit around patiently. They've turned their attention to other candidates, with Derek Fisher and Scottie Pippen topping the list, who also played under Phil Jackson during his coaching career. Could Fisher or Pippen be the man to lead the Knicks to glory?

Steve Kerr opted to coach the Golden State Warriors, and the Knicks immediately had to adopt plan B. One of the more glamorous positions in sports has been a hot topic for weeks, but who will get the job? It's believed that Jackson wants someone he's coached, so he can mentor them into an excellent coach.

Derek Fisher's name has also been thrown around as an ideal coach, and Pippen could be hired as his assistant, or possibly land the top job himself. The Knicks spoke with Pippen recently and he had a lot to say. "I haven't talked to Phil," Pippen explained. "I have to wait until that time comes. Right now nothing is out there. I'm not going to say whether I'm interested or not until it happens."

With regards to Kerr not taking the job, Pippen expressed his bewilderment. "I was a little bit surprised," said Pippen. "I thought the familiarity working with Phil, able to run the offense, having Phil there to mentor him as much as possible, made it a bit of a surprise. I think at the end of the day, Golden State is probably the better team. They have a lot more upside. I think he's a great guy and will make a great coach."

Who do you think the Knicks should hire, and can either Fisher or Pippen lead Jackson's latest regime to the glory they helped his previous ones achieve?
