Queen Latifah To Become a Mother?

Queen Latifah revealed that she plans to adopt a child.  The rapper turned actress will become a mother if the plan comes through.  

On a recent interview on The View, the 42-year old shared that she has already started the lengthy process of adopting a child.  "I'm actually kind of working on that.  I think I saw one of those specials... you know those movies of the week. And it was like... I just always wanted to bring a child home," she told Barbara Walters.

Since she was a teenager, Latifah has become interested in adoption.  "I'm totally serious, so if you got a kid that you don't (want)... Just give me a year - let me set up camp and send me the kid. But no, no totally.

Latifah's sexuality has been questioned by some, however the actress refuses to speak about her private life.
