The Chicago Bears are slowly building a pretty impressive NFL roster, and Brandon Marshall will now continue to be a part of it. The star wide receiver signed a three-year contract extension, worth a near $30 million on top of the $10 million he's already owed. The Bears will be full of optimism now they've locked their man up for another 3 years.

Previously Marshall had said he didn't mind playing on an expiring contract. He explained "I have another year left on my contract. If it happens, it happens; if it doesn't, I'm glad to be a Bear for another year and I'm going to force them to sign me after next year," Marshall confirmed. "One way or another, they're going to get the deal done."

After a season full on injuries, the Bears are hoping everything can come together and result in the success they so desperately crave. Marshall, 30, has caught for 1,000 yards for seven straight seasons, showing how important he can be to the Bears' organization. The Bears will be hoping he can make these kind of numbers a regular occurrence now he's landed a big money contract.

Is Brandon Marshall worth this kind of money, and can he push the Bears in to the 2015 Super Bowl, or will it be another season of disappointment for the Windy City? Regardless of his production, the fans cannot fault the organization for trying, as there would of been many teams that would've easily matched this sum. Will Marshall lead the NFL in receiving this season?
