Kim Kardashian's BFF Jonathan Cheban attacked by stranger in Brooklyn days before the Paris wedding

Kim Kardashian has a lot on her plate this week preparing for her upcoming weekend wedding in Paris, while her best friend Jonathan Cheban is recovering from a violent run-in with a stranger at a Brooklyn restaurant.

The stranger harassed and yelled at Cheban while he was out with friends eating at Sushi Couture around 10 p.m. Cheban's security guard was forced to punch the out of control man to keep Kimmie's BFF from being attacked.

Cheban showed off his meal via Instagram as he enjoyed dinner while watching the Michael Jackson hologram on the Billboard Music Awards. He wrote, "Live shrimp are back in season woohoo. Dinner time @SushiCouture oh and Michael Jackson Billboard awards was fu*king insane!!!!!!!"

His post may have helped the stranger located where Cheban was. Cheban claims the stranger was a stalker.

"While Jonathan and his group were eating, a man entered the restaurant and started yelling for him," an onlooker tells E! News. "He was screaming, 'Cheban! Cheban! I came here to talk to you!' His eyes were huge and he had a large pocket knife hanging off his belt-it was really scary. He looked like a stalker."
