'Glee' Star Lea Michele Finally Owns Up To Having Dated Costar Matthew Morrison

Talk about a teacher-student relationship.

After years of speculation, Lea Michele finally admits to having been in a relationship with Glee costar Matthew Morrison.

The 27-year-old actress reveals the fact that she was indeed hot for teacher, in her new book Brunette Ambition.

The confession comes during later chapters of the book when Lea begins to reminisce about getting the role of Rachel Berry on the Fox hit Glee.

"When we shot the pilot, I met Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley, and Chris Colfer for the first time. I had worked on Broadway with Jenna Ushkowitz and Matthew Morrison before. Matt had been a friend of mine for years, in fact we'd actually dated back in the day for a Broadway Beat."

Boy, it must have been awkward to film the Rachel-Mr. Shue episode where Rachel was pining for the glee coach. Talk about life imitating art.

Michele hasn't always been so outspoken about the relationship, even publicly denying it more than once in the press.

When asked in 2010 if her and Morrison were an item she tells Hollywood.com that they were strictly just friends.

"I've known Matt for years. He's been a friend of mine from New York. People are going to make things up. I think it's just because we really are so close."

Matt seconded Michele's claims that a romantic relationship didn't exist in an interview he had with Parade magazine in 2010.

"We were literally on set and I got a call from my publicist [about Lea], and [Lea] got a call a minute later and we looked at each other like, 'What the f**K?' It's so laughable."

Doesn't seem to be so laughable now does it Mr. Morrison.

Reps for the Glee actor have yet to comment on the situation, but we'd like to see how they backtrack on this one.
