Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart 'Twilight' Sex Scene 'Embarrassing/Awkward' Compared To Kinky 'Maps To The Stars' Julianne Moore Hook-Up [WATCH]

British heartthrob Robert Pattinson is currently at the Cannes Film Festival promoting two new 2014 movies - "Maps to the Stars" and "The Rover." So, what was it like hooking-up onscreen with 53-year-old co-star, Julianne Moore?

Pretty damn cool, actually.

Apparently, 28-year-old Pattinson had a good ol' sweaty time getting down-and-dirty with Moore in David Cronenberg's upcoming drama.

'Following the lives of the Weiss family, an archetypical Hollywood dynasty, Dr. Stafford Weiss (John Cusack) is a psychotherapist, who has made a fortune with his self-help manuals; his wife Cristina (Olivia Williams) manages the career of their thirteen-year-old son, Benjie (Evan Bird), a child star, who recently came out of a drug rehabilitation program, which he entered at the age of nine; their daughter Agatha (Mia Wasikowska) has recently been released from a sanatorium where she was admitted for the treatment of criminal pyromania. After her release from the sanatorium, she befriends a limo driver and aspiring actor, Jerome Fontana (Robert Pattinson). Havana Segrand (Julianne Moore), one of Stafford's clients and an actress, has a unique new assistant. She wants to shoot a remake of the 1960s movie, starring her mother Clarice (Sarah Gadon) which made her famous. Clarice has been dead for sometime now and visions of her ghost come to haunt Havana at night.'

Pretty intense stuff - especially that erotic limo sex scene between R-Patz and the "Hannibal" beauty. 

During a Cannes photo call press conference held on Monday (May 19), reporters pointed out that this isn't the first time Pattinson's done the "dirty deed" in a car. He also romanced Juliette Binoche in Cronenberg's 2012 drama, "Cosmopolis." So - which starlet is the better onscreen lover?

"Both [are] like 7s," Pattinson laughed. He continued, "I'm joking... Obviously Julianne [was better]... It was a wonderful experience. It was extremely sweaty," 

Moore dreamingly added, "It's sublime."

Watch out, Kristen Stewart!

Robsten's no longer together, but according to Pattinson, it was actually pretty awkward filming similar "erotic" scenes with his ex-girlfriend!

During his "Twilight" days, R-Patz once admitted:

"I think the more comfortable you are with each other, the harder it gets to do any kind of really intense relationship scene... You're kind of thinking, 'I don't want to embarrass myself in front of this person... I know what she's thinking now.' So it becomes ridiculous after awhile."  

Not exactly a diss towards his former on-and-off screen sweetheart, but wonder if the "SWATH" actress finds this offensive. Apparently, Pattinson finds it way easier to romance other ladies onscreen, with no emotional connection or commitment!
